Rørvig Kirke

Rørvig Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ods Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Nykøbing-Rørvig Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of Odsherred Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 .

On January 1, 2020, 1561 inhabitants lived in the parish, 1048 of them in the parish of Rørvig . The "Rørvig Kirke" is located on the territory of the municipality. In contrast to most Danish churches, it is painted yellow rather than white.

The only neighboring municipality is Nykøbing Sj Sogn in the west , otherwise the parish borders on the Baltic Sea in the north and the Isefjord in the east and south .
