Vegas Robaina

The Vegas Robaina cigar brand is named after the tobacco expert Alejandro Robaina , who also developed the tobacco blends. However, the rights to the trademark belong to the Cuban people. The Vegas Robaina cigars are made by Habanos SA . Only the best tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo are used. Vegas Robaina is a premium brand and has been available worldwide (excluding the US ) since 1997 .

Special productions

Since 1999 there have been several limited special productions. These special productions often appeared as so-called "Regionales" editions, which are only available in certain countries. Usually two different cigar formats from the Vegas Robaina brand were offered in an elaborate cigar box. Some of these cigar formats were only available in these special editions. Such special productions are aimed in particular at cigar collectors and lovers of the brand.

  • Siglo XXI Humidor (1999) - Anniversary humidor to celebrate the new millennium, edition of 21 pieces. It contains 20 different brands of 100 cigars each. Including the five regular formats from Vegas Robaina.
  • Vegas Robaina "5 Aniversario" (2002) - Available for the brand's 5th birthday during the Habanos Festival 2002, edition of 83 humidors. Contents 40 Don Alejandros, 40 Famosos, 3 Familiares with modified belly bands. Also an unknown number of individual cigars. Only sold in Cuba.
  • Vegas Robaina "5th Aniversario Humidor" (2003) - Also launched for the brand's 5th anniversary in early 2003, 500 humidors. Contains 20 cigars each of all five formats with modified belly bands, worldwide sale.
  • Robaina - Robusto No. 2 - 155 × 20.64 mm - Published for the 15th anniversary of 5th Avenue Products Trading GmbH, the Habanos importer for Germany. 15,000 cigars were made and sold in boxes of 15. Wasn't called Edicion Regionales at the time, but belongs to this series due to its key data (limited production quantities, distribution on only one market).
  • Maestros - Gorditos - 102 × 19.84 mm - Ediciones Regionales for Portugal in 2008, 20,000 boxes of ten cigars each.
  • Petit Robusto - Petit Robustos - 150 × 19.84 mm - Ediciones Regionales for Spain in 2007, 600 boxes of 25 cigars each.
  • Marshall - Petit Robustos - 150 × 19.84 mm - Ediciones Regionales for Croatia in 2009, 1,500 boxes of ten cigars each. Originally supposed to appear in 2008 as Gloria Cubana Marshall, however, due to a trademark dispute with Swedish Match, it was canceled. The logo of the boxes already produced was covered with a metal plaque.
  • Petit Robaina - Petit Edmundo - 110 × 20.5 mm - Ediciones Regionales for Canada in 20079, 1,200 boxes of 25 cigars each.
  • Vegas Robaina "15 Aniversario" (2012–2013) - exclusively distributed by Intertabak in Switzerland for the brand's 15th birthday. Contains 25 Piramides and 25 Petit Belicoso brand cigars. Limited to 200 pieces in a high-gloss finish with adorini cigar heaven.
