Veikka Gustafsson

Eero Veikka Juhani Gustafsson (born January 14, 1968 in Espoo , Finland ) is a Finnish mountaineer.

He is the first Finn to climb Mount Everest . In 1997 he repeated the ascent, but this time without additional oxygen, and so he was also the first Finn to succeed. He is also the first Finn to climb all 14 eight-thousanders (July 2009).

Since the first ascent of Mount Everest, Gustafsson has been climbing all mountains without bottled oxygen.
