Veit Bronnenmeyer

Veit Bronnenmeyer (born April 10, 1973 in Kulmbach ) is a German writer . He mainly writes crime novels with regional references.

Life

Veit Bronnenmeyer began writing as the editor of the school newspaper . After high school and community service, he took up vocational training and then studied social work in Bamberg (1996-2000). During this time he wrote his first, as yet unpublished, crime manuscript.

Veit Bronnenmeyer has lived in Fürth since 2001 , his debut novel Russische Seelen was published by ars vivendi Verlag in 2005. Veit Bronnenmeyer is a member of the " Syndikats ", the group of authors of German-language crime literature. In civil life he works as a project manager in the school department of the city of Fürth. After being nominated in 2007 and 2008, he won the Agatha Christie crime prize in 2009 with the short crime novel "Eigenbemühungen".
