The Velichkov Knoll (English, Bulgarian Величкова могила Welitschkowa Mogila ) is a 970 m high mountain on the Davis Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 6.55 km east-southeast of Bankya Peak , 5.25 km northeast of Sredorek Peak and 6.3 km southwest of Nikyup Point east of Sabine and west of Andrew Glacier .
German and British scientists mapped it together in 1996. The Bulgarian Antarctic Place-names Commission named him in 2010 after the Bulgarian aviation pioneer Stojan Welitschkow (1871-?), Designer of the in the Balkan wars used in 1912, the first bomb Welitschka .
