The Venturi Atlantique is a passenger car model from the French vehicle manufacturer Venturi . The coupe was produced from 1996 to 2001 in a small series of less than 200 units. The Atlantique is the successor to the Venturi 260 LM . Its competitors included the Lotus Esprit and the Porsche 911 of the 993 type. Despite good test results and several comparative tests, the Atlantique was not accepted by the public and did not lead to commercial success. Like Renault before with the GTA , Venturi stopped production of a sports car from France.
