Ventuz is a 3D real-time authoring software . The main areas of application are large presentations, events, interactive applications and TV graphics. Ventuz aims to combine the latest technological developments and high quality design in a reliable development environment. Ventuz is developed by Ventuz Technology AG, based in Hamburg and Munich .
overview
Ventuz has been developed to meet all needs in creating professional, high quality presentations of all kinds. A special feature of Ventuz is its openness with regard to software and hardware setups. It can be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of environments. This makes it possible to combine complex and visually appealing 3D animations and designs with the latest technological developments and thus create new types of audiovisual presentations and installations.
Ventuz is a .NET-based software for real-time 3D graphics. It has a graphical user interface based on a node structure. This allows 3D content and animations to be created without having to program. Ventuz is an authoring tool and can therefore only be used to create simple 3D objects. However, more complex 3D objects can be imported from all common modeling tools. Ventuz has a key-frame animation editor and a so-called state engine. The latter primarily enables animations that are based on interactive inputs, such as pressing a button and the like. In addition, you can easily insert complex logic and tailor-made scripts.
One advantage of Ventuz's open architecture is the ability to receive and process commands from a wide variety of sources. This makes Ventuz a powerful tool for interactive applications . Common areas of application include navigation through a presentation using light barriers or motion tracking, as well as information terminals with touch screens . A wide variety of devices can be seamlessly integrated with Ventuz. Even multi-touch applications are possible.
Ventuz projects can be produced in any format and any resolution. Several Ventuz computers can be arranged in a cluster and play the presentation synchronously so that a uniform and error-free display is guaranteed. Ventuz also includes applications for projecting a presentation onto uneven surfaces. Since Ventuz is a 3D software, it is also easy to display a project in Stereo3D .
Ventuz is also a flexible solution for infomedia and digital signage . Data can be obtained from many external sources, including the Internet, Excel or text files and databases. As soon as the data is changed at the source, the graphics in the Ventuz presentation are also adapted so that the latest information is always displayed.
Many companies around the world use Ventuz to present their own products, for example Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, Microsoft and many more.
Ventuz is also used in the area of TV graphics. The channels that work with Ventuz include RTL, ZDF, National Geographic, WDR, ERTU, mbc and many others. Shows made with Ventuz include DSDS , How Smart is Germany? , 5 against Jauch , Beat the Star and the American Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? . In 2009, American television broadcaster Fox Sport launched Ventuz for its on-air graphics.
