The Venus of Moravany ( Slovak Moravianska VENUSA ) is a Venus figurines , the near Moravany nad Vahom in Slovakia was found. The estimated age of the figurine is 22,800 years, it is made of mammoth ivory . Comparable finds in the vicinity are the Venus von Willendorf in Lower Austria and the Venus von Dolní Věstonice in the Czech Republic near Břeclav. The 7.6 cm statuette was found in 1938 and is now the oldest work of art in Slovakia in the Slovak National Museum in Bratislava .
