Veracocha is a trance collaboration from the Netherlands , consisting of Ferry Corsten and Vincent de Moor . The name comes from the Inca deity Viracocha .

Career

In 1999 the single "Carte Blanche" was released under Veracocha on the Positiva label. It reached number 22 in the UK single charts . The single has since appeared on around 200 compilations and is now considered a trance classic. Several remixes were also produced (including by Cosmic Gate , Scot Project and Ronald van Gelderen ). Veracocha herself made a remix of “Ayla” by Ayla (the German trance DJ and producer Ingo Kunzi ). Besides "Carte Blanche" there is only the B-side of the original pressing on Deal Records , which was called Drafting . The first remixes of "Carte Blanche" appear on Deal Records (label of the former Combined Forces Distribution), but only partially or not at all were included in new editions.

In 2008, a new version of Carte Blance was released, which reached number 37 in the Dutch singles chart.
