Ingo Kunzi (* 7. November 1966 ) is a German Trance - DJ and -producer from Baden-Wuerttemberg , which mainly by his pen name Ayla or DJ Tandu is known.

biography

At the beginning of his DJ career Ingo Kunzi used the pseudonym DJ Tandu . In 1994 he published his first production "Acido EP". In 1995 the Ayla project was born. His debut single of the same name, especially the Taucher Remix, was a worldwide success. The single came in at number 22 in the UK singles chart . It was also used by McDonald’s for a TV advertisement and as the soundtrack for the film Kevin and Perry do it .

In 1998 the single "Ayla (Part II)" was released, which he produced together with Taucher and Torsten Stenzel . The single reached number 56 in the German charts. Other successful productions were a remake of Cosmic Baby's “Liebe” and “Angelfalls”. In 1999 his debut album Nirwana was released , which reached gold status in Norway and Singapore. Most recently, he produced a song called “Sun Is Coming Out” in 2002 under the pseudonym Ayla. The project has since paused.
