Verdins
Verdins ([ fɐ'dins ]) is a fraction of the municipality of Schenna in South Tyrol .
Verdins is about 840 m above sea level and 3 km north of Schenna in the lower Passeier Valley on the orographic left , eastern side of the valley. The village has about 400 inhabitants and has a center with new buildings, restaurants, shops, a kindergarten and a school. Many hiking trails lead from Verdins into the alpine mountains of the Sarntal Alps . With the Verdins cable car you can effortlessly conquer altitude. The parish church of Verdins is St. Consecrated Exaltation of the Cross .
