Jessica Pratt (* 1979 in Bristol ) is an Australian opera and concert singer ( soprano ).

Life

Jessica Pratt studied singing in Europe and Australia. She completed master classes a. a. with Joan Sutherland , Renata Scotto , Gustav Kuhn and Siegfried Jerusalem . She has won several prizes and grants, including the Australian Singing Competition at the Rome Opera and the Vienna State Opera .

She is regularly on stages and festivals such as the Teatro alla Scala , Teatro San Carlo , the Rossini Opera Festival Pesaro , the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino , the Teatro La Fenice , the Vienna State Opera, the Zurich Opera House , the Deutsche Oper Berlin , the Festival Caramoor and at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and has worked with conductors such as Daniel Oren , Kent Nagano , Ralf Weikert , Donato Renzetti, Vladimir Ashkenazy , Wayne Marshall, Christian Thielemann , David Parry, Nello Santi and Sir Colin Davis .

In addition to her stage presence, Jessica Pratt works as a lieder and concert singer. She sang at the New Year's Concert 2012 at the La Fenice Theater in Venice, broadcast by arte.
