The United Versicherung Aktiengesellschaft (United) was a German insurance group with headquarters in Munich . The insurance group existed under this company until 2002. It was divided into the areas of health , life and property insurance as well as building society savings .
history
On December 11, 1812, King Friedrich Wilhelm III signed. the certificate of approval for the establishment of a fire insurance company based in Berlin. She expanded into other insurance areas. After the Second World War it was moved to Munich to avoid expropriation.
In 1876 the Aachen-Leipziger Versicherungs-AG was founded to carry out insurance and reinsurance business in the areas of property damage insurance.
In 1980 the merger of the Berlinische Feuer-Versicherungs-Anstalt Aktiengesellschaft headquarters: Munich and Berlin and the Aachen-Leipziger Versicherungs-AG resulted in the United Aachen-Berlinische Versicherung Aktiengesellschaft headquarters: Munich and Berlin .
From 1987 this operated under the well-known Vereinte Versicherung Aktiengesellschaft .
On November 18, 1994, Magdeburger Versicherung AG was fully integrated, and Magdeburger Hagelversicherung AG followed in 1999 .
Until December 31, 1994, the owner of Vereinte was Swiss Re , which founded SR Beteiligungen AG for this purpose .
On May 1, 1995, it was sold to Allianz Aktiengesellschaft , today Allianz SE , subsequently renamed to Vereinte Holding Aktiengesellschaft and deleted from the commercial register of the Munich District Court on February 25, 2010 .
After the squeeze-out of the last remaining shareholders in 2002, Vereinte went under the Allianz brand. This process can be summarized as follows: From 1997 onwards, the products of the respective Allianz companies were gradually taken over 1: 1 to the respective Vereinte companies - which resulted in the later merger of Vereinte Lebensversicherung AG on November 18, 2002 with Allianz Lebensversicherungs- AG and Vereinte Versicherung Aktiengesellschaft on November 8, 2002 and Vereinte Rechtsschutzversicherung Aktiengesellschaft on February 20, 2003 to Allianz Versicherungs-AG .

The Vereinte Spezial Krankenversicherung Aktiengesellschaft, which was founded in 1995, continued to exist until August 29, 2014, whereby the current travel insurance contracts were processed by the APKV and were completely transferred in 2014.
The United Specialty Insurance AG is still operating more as a direct insurer Allianz Direct Insurance AG .
The company sports club “Grün-Weiß Vereinte” Munich eV continues to exist as the “Sports Association Allianz Private Health Insurance” Munich eV .
