Verena Schmid (sports shooter)

Verena Schmid (* 1999 ) is a German air rifle shooting champion.

Life

She grew up in the Middle Franconian Schutzendorf . In 2013 she won three German championship titles. At the age of 15 she joined the Bavarian youth team and in 2015 the national team. She works as a model maker at Kessel AG in Lenting . Since 2015 she has been shooting for SV Petersaurach in the air rifle Bundesliga and her home club SV Höbing in the Bayernliga. In 2017 she became the European Air Rifle and Air Rifle Mixed Team Champion in Maribor, Slovenia . At the Bavarian Championships in 2017, she won two silver and three bronze medals with the small-bore rifle.
