Höbing

Höbing is the collective term for the two neighboring districts:

• Großhöbing of the city of Greding
• Kleinhöbing of the Thalmässing market

The two towns are only fifty meters apart. Since Großhöbing was mostly Catholic , it joined the municipality of Greding during the regional reform in Bavaria , and Kleinhöbing decided to go to the municipality of Thalmässing , as it was mostly Protestant-Lutheran . This circumstance also led to the fact that a parish is celebrated in Kleinhöbing, although there, unlike Großhöbing, is no longer a church.

Due to the local proximity they have the volunteer fire brigade Höbing and the area code 08463 as a common facility .
