Geographical location

The hamlet is located in the north of the Altmühltal Nature Park , around three kilometers southeast of Thalmässing, below the Reuther Platte mountain .

history

Göllersreuth was built as an extension at the end of the 12th century. The name suggests a clearing settlement , perhaps that of a Gerolt.

traffic

The district road RH 33 , which crosses the village, leads to Landersdorf and to the state road St 2227 . The A 9 motorway runs 3 km east.
