Hagenich is a district of the Markt Thalmässing in the Central Franconian district of Roth in Bavaria .

Geographical location

The village is located in the north of the Altmühltal Nature Park , around two kilometers southeast of Thalmässing. The Hagenicher Mühlbach, a tributary of the Thalach , flows through it.

history

The place was first mentioned in a document around 1150. In 1837 Hagenich came to Middle Franconia, in 1855 it became an independent municipality with the districts Gebersdorf and Eckmannshofen . In the course of the municipal reform , the municipality was incorporated into Thalmässing in 1972.

economy

Of the ten farms that existed after the Second World War , two are still working full-time today.

A local road leads to Gebersdorf and to state road 2227 to Thalmässing.
