history
Rabenreuth was first mentioned in a document in 1291, when Hermannus de Gozstorf (= year village ) gave the tithe to "Rabenriute", which he had in fief from the Bishop of Eichstätt, to the Eichstatter canons Otto Schweppermann and Konrad von Walde . In the same year he came to the Seligenporten monastery . When Friedrich II. Von Heideck († 1423) donated a mass to the parish church in Heideck in 1390 , their endowment also included properties in Rabenreuth.
In the 16th century Rabenreuth consisted of six properties, towards the end of the 18th century five; There were eleven in 1904 and ten in 1952. At the end of the Old Empire , around 1800, the five Rabenreuth subjects belonged to the manorial and thus lower court to the Palatinate-Baier district judge's office Heideck, while the high jurisdiction was perceived by the care office Heideck of the Electorate of Palatinate-Baiern in succession to Palatinate-Neuburg as sovereign. Ecclesiastically, one belonged to the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Alfershausen , where the children also went to school. There was also a shepherd's house in the hamlet.
In the new Kingdom of Bavaria (1806) Rabenreuth and Ohlangen belonged to the tax district Laibstadt in the district court and rent office (from 1939 district) Hilpoltstein . When the community was formed in 1811/18, Ohlangen and Rabenreuth were combined to form the rural community of Ohlangen. In 1964 it had a total of 130 inhabitants in 23 residential buildings. As part of the municipal reform , it was incorporated into the Thalmässing market in the Roth district on July 1, 1971.
