The Vergilov Rocks ( Bulgarian Скали Вергилов Skali Wergilow ) are cliff rocks in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the Bay Emona Anchorage of Livingston Island , they are 510 m north-northeast of Cape Hespérides and 310 m southwest of a 6 m high rock on Bulgarian Beach , the locally Greenpeace rock is known.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 1996 after Slatil Wergilow (* 1958), a member of the team that erected the first building of the St. Kliment Ohridski Station in 1988.
