The Verkehrsgemeinschaft Westmecklenburg (VWM) is an amalgamation of the regional transport companies in the city of Schwerin , in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district and in the Nordwestmecklenburg district . The Hanseatic city of Wismar is not integrated.

Tariff

Uniform conditions of carriage and a community tariff for regional bus companies exist within VWM. Since January 1, 2014, combined tickets can be purchased again for onward journeys on the Schwerin local transport lines . The rail transport companies Deutsche Bahn AG and the Ostdeutsche Eisenbahngesellschaft mbH (ODEG), which are represented in the transport area, are no longer integrated into the tariff.

West Mecklenburg tariff

The higher-level roof tariff WestMecklenburgTarif (WMT), which existed in addition to the existing community tariff , also included the rail transport of Deutsche Bahn, the Ostdeutsche Eisenbahngesellschaft (ODEG) and urban transport in Wismar. Distribution was discontinued on December 31, 2013.
