Vermont State Colleges

The Vermont State Colleges (VSC) are an association of state universities in the US state of Vermont , based in Waterbury . It was founded in 1961, with the oldest, Castleton State College, founded in 1787.

There are currently around 13,000 students studying at the 5 locations. About 60% are from Vermont, 40% are from over 40 US states and more than 45 countries. The ratio of professors to students is 1:16.
