Bennington College
The Bennington College is a private liberal arts college in Bennington in the state of Vermont to the United States of America .
history
The planning for the opening of the school began in 1923 and was completed nine years later, in 1932. The four most important founding figures were Vincent Ravi Booth, Mr. and Mrs. Hall Park McCullough, and William Heard Kilpatrick. Bennington was founded as an all-women college. The first men were admitted to the acting class as early as 1935, but it wasn't until 1969 that the other faculties were opened to both sexes.
Bennington College is a renowned educational institution. It offers 822 study places in six faculties (as of 2012).
