Veronica Rossi

Veronica Rossi (* 1973 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ) is a Brazilian-born, now American writer , best known for her New York Times best-selling trilogy Aria and Perry (originally: Under the Never Sky ). The series is assigned to the post-apocalypse subgenre within science fiction for young people. It was published in Germany by Oetinger Verlag and was translated by Franca Fritz and Heinrich Koop. The film rights to the trilogy were acquired by Warner Bros. and the novel has been published in more than 25 countries.

Career

Before Rossi wrote her first book, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Los Angeles and then studied fine arts at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco . Her latest novel, Riders, is slated for a release in 2016.

Personal life

In her childhood Rossi moved often; she lived in Mexico and Venezuela , among others . She currently resides in Northern California with her husband and two sons .
