Veronika Malá (born May 6, 1994 in Písek ) is a Czech handball player who belongs to the squad of the Czech national team.
Career
Veronika Malá started playing handball in 2001 in her place of birth near Sokol Písek . Later, the winger moved into the squad of the women's team, with whom she played in the top Czech division and took part in the EHF Challenge Cup . After Malá was under contract with DHC Slavia Prague in the 2015/16 season , she joined the German Bundesliga club VfL Oldenburg . In the summer of 2017, she moved to the French first division club Issy Paris Hand, who renamed itself Paris 92 a year later .
Malá ran for the Czech youth and junior national team. With these teams she took part in the 2011 U-17 European Championship , the 2013 U-19 European Championship and the 2014 U-20 World Championship . On September 11, 2014, she made her debut for the Czech national team. She participated in the 2016 European Championship , the 2017 World Championship and the 2018 European Championship .
