reception

Veronika Rusch is successful with her novels in very different genres and her novels have been unanimously praised by critics and readers.

  • “Fiona Blum describes a love story that doesn't really begin until the last sentence of the book - and yet it paves the way throughout the novel. Because Federica and Davide are driven towards each other by fate, calmly but firmly, and a damaged little cat is allowed to play Cupid. What could have been kitschy is anything but that here: Love on three paws is a poetic, touching novel in the best sense of the word, whose idiosyncratic, sensitive characters enchant the reader as does the setting in Rome. "
  • “Veronika Rusch also shows herself to be a good storyteller in her third book in the series. She is able to captivate the reader, her plot seems well thought out and well researched. The dialogues are coherent and sensitive, appropriate to the sometimes gloomy content. "
  • Deadly Alsace has everything that we associate with this beautiful region: pure nature, old half-timbered houses, good food, wine and lots of charm. The crime thriller also has a very different and yet very effective pair of investigators who are also convincing in its third case. And it has a downright eerie story - beautifully scary in a contemplative setting.
