Certificate of representation

A representation certificate indicates which natural person (s) are authorized to represent a legal person in legal transactions .

According to Section 21, Paragraph 1, No. 1 of the Federal Notaries' Regulations, notaries are entitled to issue a certificate of representation after inspecting the register. In the case of legal entities that are not recorded in registers such as the association or commercial register, such as foundations and associations under the old law , the responsible supervisory authority (e.g. the foundation supervisory authority ) issues such certificates.
