In the agreed administrative community Boxberg in the Main-Tauber district of Baden-Württemberg , a town and a municipality have come together to handle their administrative business. The seat of the agreed administrative community is at Kurpfalzstraße 29 in the city of Boxberg ( fulfilling municipality ).

Member municipalities

Members of this administrative community created by a public law agreement are:

  • City of Boxberg , 6664 inhabitants, 101.81 km²
  • Ahorn municipality , 2244 inhabitants, 53.96 km²

Structure and tasks

A joint committee made up of representatives of the municipalities involved decides on the fulfillment tasks. The chairman of the joint committee is the mayor (Christian Kremer) of the fulfilling community (Boxberg). The "agreed administrative community" is not itself legally competent , as it is not a corporation under public law and therefore also not a community association . The scope of the assigned tasks of the agreed administrative community determines § 61 of the Baden-Württemberg municipal code .
