Administrative community of the Northern Saalkreis

The municipalities of Domnitz , Nauendorf and Plötz as well as the town of Löbejün were united in the administrative community of the Northern Saalkreis in the Saxon-Anhalt Saalkreis . On January 1, 2005, it was merged with the Wettin administrative association (excluding the Kloschwitz municipality , which was part of the Western Saalkreis administrative association ) to form the new Saalkreis Nord administrative association.
