Administrative community Rieden

The administrative community Rieden in the Upper Palatinate district of Amberg-Sulzbach was founded on May 1, 1978 as part of the municipal reform . The communities Rieden , Ensdorf and Ebermannsdorf belonged to it. The seat of the administrative community was Rieden.

With effect from January 1, 1980, the municipality of Rieden was dismissed. The seat of the administrative community was relocated to Ensdorf and the name was changed to " Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Ensdorf "; from 1986 the two remaining municipalities went their separate ways.
