The administrative community Stegaurach was an administrative community (VG) in the district of Bamberg . From May 1, 1978 to December 31, 2012, it last consisted of the following municipalities:
- Stegaurach , 6737 inhabitants, 23.89 km²
- Walsdorf , 2544 inhabitants, 16.22 km²
The administrative association was based in Stegaurach.
Originally also the communities Lisberg and Priesendorf belonged to it, which left on December 31, 1979; On January 1, 1980, the administrative community Lisberg was founded, which consists of these two communities.
According to a draft law of the state government, the administrative community was dissolved at the request of the municipality of Walsdorf with effect from January 1, 2013. The dissolution law was passed in the Bavarian state parliament on December 4, 2012 and came into force on January 1, 2013.
