Administrative community Wein-Weida-Land

The municipalities of Barnstädt , Nemsdorf-Göhrendorf , Obhausen and Steigra were united in the administrative community of Wein-Weida-Land in the district of Merseburg-Querfurt in Saxony-Anhalt . The brook Weida gave it its name . On January 15, 2002, the community of Albersroda from the administrative community of Upper Geiseltal was added. On January 1, 2005, it was merged with the Weitzschker Weidatal administrative association to form the new Weida-Land administrative association.
