history

Church in Albersroda

Albersroda was first mentioned in 1144 as Adelbrehtisrod and belonged with Schnellroda as a Bamberg fief to Burgwart Scheidungen ( castle divorces ). Albersroda belonged to the Saxon office of Freyburg as an official village as early as 1589 . There lived 35 possessed men , including 14 harnesses and 21 backsaddlers . At that time the village corridor bordered with Gleina , Steigra , Carsdorf , Schnellroda and Sankt Micheln . Albersroda was parish off to Schnellroda at that time and only later received its own church. The wild Mark Burckerßroda also belonged to the village hall . The inheritance courts in the village and on all farms belonged to the Behren zu Zewigker , who also lived in the latter place. The manor that later existed in the village was probably not formed until the 17th century. The manor owners were representatives of the Scharten family, von Kannawurf, von Rockhausen auf Kirchscheidungen (1710–1810 / 12) and Magdeburg.

Albersroda, sometimes also called Albrechtsroda, had belonged to the Prussian province of Saxony since 1815 and was located in the administrative district of Merseburg , in the Querfurt district, in the Freyburg district , northeast of the Unstrut and not far from the Wachhügel, in a fertile area. The place has 46 houses, 210 inhabitants, a branch church of Schnellrode and a school, which are under the collage of the local manor owner and the inspection Freyburg.

Water tower

In 1822 Albersroda is referred to as a village with a manor and a branch of Schnellroda. At that time it had 45 houses and 208 residents. The Naumburg Regional Court and Freyburg Court Office have jurisdiction over 2 houses with 10 residents. The patrimonial court there are subject to 43 houses including the bakery belonging to the church, the school newly built by the community and the Hutmanns apartment with a total of 198 inhabitants. The royal court portion is outside the village and is the remainder of Tromsdorf, which was destroyed in the Thirty Years War . In terms of the real jurisdiction, the manor is directly under the Higher Regional Court. It is of Mannlehn's quality and was previously relevant to the ducal house of Anhalt, from which the feudal lordship was passed to Saxony through the Rhine Confederation Act . Actually, the estate cannot be called a manor, because it does not include buildings or lands, rather the feudum consists merely in the jurisdiction over the village and in several interest to be paid annually by the residents of Albersroda who are resident in the lands. In 1858 Albersroda became a rural community in the Querfurt district and the mother church of Schnellroda.

Construction of the water tower began in 1885 and was in operation until 1975.

In 1912 the village was transferred to the administrative district of Merseburg , Querfurt district, Freyburg district court and at that time had 357 inhabitants. In 1974 it belonged together with the incorporated Schnellroda to the Querfurt district, Halle district and had 406 inhabitants.
