Administrative court Trier

The Trier Administrative Court is a court of administrative jurisdiction and one of four administrative courts in Rhineland-Palatinate , which has jurisdiction over the whole of Rhineland-Palatinate in some areas. It is based in Trier . Georg Schmidt is the President of the Administrative Court .

Judicial district

The judicial district includes the city of Trier and the districts of Bernkastel-Wittlich , Bitburg-Prüm , Vulkaneifel and Trier-Saarburg .

Further responsibilities

The Trier Administrative Court is also responsible for the entire state of Rhineland-Palatinate in proceedings under the State Disciplinary Act , the Federal Disciplinary Act , the Asylum Act and in court proceedings in which the compensation administration is involved.

Instance move

The next higher court is the Higher Administrative Court of Rhineland-Palatinate , which has its seat in Koblenz . The Federal Administrative Court is superordinate to this.

Courthouse

The court was housed in a building on the Irminenfreihof from 1994 to 2012 . The seat of the court was relocated to Egbertstraße 20a in Trier on October 1, 2012.
