Veselin Popović (born July 1, 1975 in Vrbas , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian football player .
Popović played as a youth for Obilić and OFK Belgrade . In Germany, the center forward was for FSV Zwickau (until 1999), Dynamo Dresden (1999/2000), FC Erzgebirge Aue (2000/01), 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 (2002 to 2004), and Wacker Burghausen (2004 to 2006) active before he switched to SV contractions . For Schweinfurt and Burghausen he was in the second Bundesliga 24 times , scoring four goals. In the 2007/08 season he was under contract with Sportfreunde Siegen in the German Regionalliga Süd . After the descent and bankruptcy of the Siegener Sportfreunde Popović left the club.
