The Veslenupen (Norwegian for Little Summit is) a mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Gjelsvikfjella mountain range, it rises near the northern end of the Nupskammen .
The first aerial photos of the mountain were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher .
