Vetle Ravnsborg Gurigard starts for Soere Aal IL . He has been competing in the IBU Cup since the 2013/14 season , where he immediately scored points in his first race in Idre in 23rd place and one day later in another sprint in eighth place, he already reached the top ten. In Obertilliach he ran alongside Kristoffer Skjelvik , Håvard Bogetveit and Martin Eng in the relay race behind France in second place and thus achieved a podium finish for the first time.
Nationally, Gurigard won the runner-up in 2011 with Rune Brattsveen , Jostein Rogstad and Øyvind Skattebo representing the Oppland region behind the Buskerud region and ahead of the champion of the year before and after, Oslo og Akershus .
