Veza Canetti Prize of the City of Vienna
The Veza Canetti Prize of the City of Vienna , named after the writer Veza Canetti (1897–1963), is a literary prize awarded by the City of Vienna .
Veza Canetti Prize
The 2014 Literature Prize was established for outstanding literary achievements by women authors who live in Vienna or who have a particularly close relationship with the city of Vienna, as an appreciation for their life's work to date. The prize is awarded annually by the incumbent City Councilor for Culture. The prize is decided in confidence by an independent jury and is endowed with 10,000 euros (as of 2020).
