The Via Montenapoleone is a 470 m long way street in the center of Milan . With its numerous fashion boutiques and head offices of internationally renowned brands, it is not only one of the most expensive boulevards in Italy , but in all of Europe.

The street is characterized by an almost closed row of former palazzi of the Milanese aristocracy built in the 19th century in the forms of neoclassicism , including the Palazzo Melzi di Cusano , the Casa Carcassola and the Palazzetta Tarverna . In its course it follows the Roman city wall that was built under Maximian . After World War II, Italian and international designers, jewelers, fur and shoe shops and antique dealers settled in Straße.

Companies such as Armani , Bulgari , Cartier , Dolce & Gabbana , Gucci , Pomellato , Prada , Tiffany’s , Valentino , Versace and Louis Vuitton are represented in the now internationally renowned shopping street . In the southeast it connects to the architecturally charming Via Sant'Andrea , with which it, together with the boutique street Via Della Spiga , forms the fashion district of Milan, which is called "Quadrilatero della moda" there.
