Victoria Teresa DiMartino (born September 4, 1991 in Massapequa , New York ) is an American soccer player who has been under contract with the New York Athletic Club in the WPSL since 2014 .
Career
At the beginning of 2013 DiMartino was committed to position 22 of the newly founded NWSL franchise in the third round of the college draft . She made her league debut on April 20, 2013 against Washington Spirit as a substitute, her first goal in the NWSL she scored on June 15 against Washington. Before the 2014 season, DiMartino's contract was not renewed, she then joined the New York Athletic Club in the WPSL .
National team
DiMartino went through the youth teams of the US Football Association in the age groups U-15, U-16, U-17, U-20 and U-23. At the U-17 World Cup in 2008 , she won the silver medal with the US team and was the second best goalscorer of the tournament behind Dzsenifer Marozsán with five goals .
Private
DiMartino's older sisters Christina (* 1986) and Gina (* 1988) are also professional soccer players.
