Vicky Batta
Vicky Batta (born April 9, 1981 ) is a retired Indian weightlifter .
Career
Batta won bronze in the duel and silver in the jerk in the class up to 56 kg at the 2002 Commonwealth Games . In 2003 he reached sixth place at the Asian Championships . In 2004 he set a new Indian record with 117.5 kg in the snatch. At the 2005 World Championships , he finished 14th. In 2006, he won the silver medal at the Commonwealth Games . During a training control he tested positive for metandienone in 2009 and was then banned for two years.
