Coordinates: 35 ° 33 ′ S , 138 ° 37 ′ E The City of Victor Harbor is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of South Australia . The area is 386.5 km² and has about 15,000 inhabitants (2016).
Victor Harbor is located in the southeast of the Fleurieu Peninsula about 70 kilometers south of the city center of the metropolis Adelaide and is counted to the area of Outer Adelaide. The area includes 11 hamlets and hamlets: Back Valley, Encounter Bay, Hayborough, Hindmarsh Tiers, Hindmarsh Valley, Inman Valley, Lower Inman Valley, McCracken, Mount Jagged, Victor Harbor and Waitpinga. The council's headquarters are in the Victor Harbor neighborhood on Encounter Bay.
