Victor Müller was born in the town of Galanta in the Danube Plain, east of Pressburg . The April 26th date of birth given in older publications is incorrect. He studied at the Vienna Academy and was among other things a student of August Eisenmenger . In Vienna he painted historical pictures and works in Art Nouveau at the turn of the century . From around 1930 he lived in Melk, where mainly representational landscapes and vedutas were created.

Victor Müller is largely forgotten today. After all, there is still a picture of Müller in the permanent exhibition of the Austrian Gallery Belvedere .
