Victor Sebestyen

Victor Sebestyen (born 1956 in Budapest ) is a British journalist and historian.

Life

Victor Sebestyen's parents emigrated to England after the suppression of the Hungarian uprising in 1956 . Sebestyen worked as a political journalist a. a. for the Evening Standard , The Times , Daily Mail , New York Times and Newsweek .

Sebestyen published his third book on recent history in 2015 with 1946: the year in which the world was re-created .

Sebestyen is a member of the advisory board of the think tank Wilton Park . He lives in London.
