Victoria Schlederer

Victoria Schlederer (* 1985 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author.

Life

After graduating from high school, Schlederer began to study Slavic (Czech) and political science at the University of Vienna . Parallel to her studies, she works as a freelance journalist for various magazines and radio stations as well as a guide in the children's museum of Schönbrunn Palace and in the Hofburg .

In 2009 she made her successful debut with her novel “The Devil's Masquerade”. With her manuscript, she won the Heyne Verlag competition “Write a magical bestseller” from more than 1,400 entries . In 2012 her second novel "Fortunas Flug" was published, after her debut novel, another magical-historical adventure about the mysterious secret agent Felix Graf von Trubic and the kuk office for occult matters.

Schlederer spent the compulsory semester abroad at the University of Rotterdam and is currently living in Vienna again.
