Victoria Wohl
Victoria Wohl (born December 14, 1966 ) is an American classical philologist .
Life
Wohl received her BA ( The ecstatic prophetess in rite and literature. The Pythia, the sibyls, and Cassandra ) from Harvard College in 1988, and an MA in 1990 and a PhD ( Too intimate commerce: exchange, gender and subjectivity in Greek tragedy ) from the in 1994 University of California, Berkeley . She has taught at Ohio State University and the University of Texas at San Antonio and conducted research at the Center for Hellenic Studies and the Institute for Advanced Study . In 2006 she moved to the University of Toronto , Classics Department.
