Commercial win

Exact sales figures are not yet available, but one website quotes as follows:

“There is not much to say here, except that this cassette C0165 from VEB MPM was chronically out of print. This is all the more astonishing since the company introduced direct shipping or factory sales after the breakdown of trade connections. And yet the demand was very high. Which ultimately speaks in favor of the fact that the KC85 system was more in demand than its successor, the KC Compact . "

price

A KC 85/4

VCM was one of the few computer games sold commercially in the GDR. Initially the game had an EVP of M 89.00 , later the price was lowered to M 17.80.

Trivia
