Viečiūnai
Viečiūnai is a small town with 1708 inhabitants (2001) in the municipality Druskininkai northeast of the spa town Druskininkai , on the right bank of the Nemunas . It is the center of the district of the same name. In Viečiūnai there is a secondary school, a library, a crèche-kindergarten "Linelis", a post office (LT-66007). From 1963 there was a colliery and from 1975 a woolen fabric factory of the Soviet Lithuanian textile company and the later Lithuanian joint stock company AB Drobė and a basketball team "Drobė" Viečiūnai.
