The Viejas Locas were an Argentine rock band from the late 1990s. The group, which comes from a southern suburb of Buenos Aires , uses elements of style from the Rolling Stones and mixes them with the blues in many of their songs . This special style is known in Argentina under names like rock stone , rock rolinga or simply rocanrol . After the band split in 2000, Pity and Abel were with the Intoxicados , other Ex- Viejas Locas with Motor Loco , the Callejeros and La Lengua . The group has been active together again since 2009.

Band history

After the band existed before the off-date when it was founded, the troupe was completely rebuilt in 1992 and only "Pity" remained part of the band. He and the new members - Fachi, Pollo and Abel - recorded the album Viejas locas in 1995 . Hermanos de sangre followed in 1997 and Especial in 1999 . After Pity left the Viejas Locas in 2000 , it was not until 2009 that the band performed together again. In 2011 they released their fourth studio album, Contra la pared .

When the Rolling Stones toured the area in 1997/98, the Viejas Locas acted as a support band.
