Viktória Mohácsi

Viktória Mohácsi (born April 1, 1975 in Berettyóújfalu ) is a former Hungarian politician . She belongs to the Roma minority . From 2004 to 2009 she was a member of the European Parliament for the Union of Free Democrats (Hungary) , as part of the European Liberal, Democratic and Reform Party . She was with Lívia Járóka , also a Roma politician from Hungary, one of the few members of the minority. Mohácsi studied from 1997 to 2002 at the University of Szeged at the Faculty of Humanities. Mohácsi was a member of the European Parliament from 2004 to 2009 , after she had moved up for her party colleague Gábor Demszky . At the beginning of 2012, Mohácsi emigrated to Canada.
