Berettyóújfalu (German Brettenbach ) is a town in the small area Berettyóújfalu in Hajdú-Bihar County in eastern Hungary . The city is named after the 167.3 km long Berettyó River . 15,317 inhabitants live in an area of ​​170.98 km² (as of 2011).
